The Elliot Leadership Institute is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the development and advancement of leaders in the foodservice and hospitality industries.

The Institute was founded by The Elliot Group, PepsiCo Foodservice, Johnson & Wales University and Nation's Restaurant News.
3. Why was the Institute created?
The Institute was created to strengthen the foodservice and hospitality industries’ ability to develop and advance strong and effective leaders.
4. How is the Institute financed?
The Institute is financed through a combination of corporate sponsorships and revenue generated through the sale of leadership development tools and solutions.
5. What is the Institute's target market?
The Institute is focused on providing cost-effective, practical leadership development tools and solutions for foodservice and hospitality leaders at every level from high-performing General Managers to C-level executives. We serve national and regional chains, multi-unit independents, franchise groups, manufacturers, and distributors. The three primary groups utilizing our tools and solutions are:
- Multi-unit Leaders (Directors of Operations, District Managers)
- Senior Leaders (Vice Presidents, Department Heads, Corporate Officers)
- Top Leaders (Presidents, CEO’s, Founders)

Joleen Flory, a veteran foodservice and human resources executive, oversees the organization as its President & CEO.
A Board of Directors and a Leadership Advisory Council comprised of several influential industry leaders provides ongoing guidance and support.
